From my heart




 This one was inspired by The Color Throwdown challenge #131 colors, but alas I was too late to enter the challenge. 

I also used the sketch from Just Us Girls and turned it on its side. 

And I used the Make It Monday distressing technique again on this card. I'm really loving this look, I wonder why I haven't used it too much before?



Look at this picture (you can click on it to see it bigger) its proof how dorky I am... the writing is upside down. Oopsies. I only noticed this while taking the pic of the distressed edges.
I used polka dot basics 2 for and text style 2 to create this background. 


ETA: Like my new look? I did it myself, I was so proud! ;o)

    what a pretty card. love the lace touches. I always do stuff like putting writing upside down too. You know what, we wouldn't have even noticed. makes it more unique!

    I DO love your new look!! I was on just last night--it was late, and you had so many new projects since the last time I visited, I didn't know where to start with comments--so I don't think I did (or did I...I don't even know!!!). Anyway--everything since the previous CR84fn challenge looks BEE-U-TEE-FUL! You are one productive girl!! Now that I know how quickly you work, I'll visit more often so that I can comment...one project at a time!! ;)

    The soft pastel colours are so pretty. Love the butterfly - is it a stamp? The little lace details add to the vintage feel as well.

    Danielle, I almost didn't see the comment you left on my Melissa P card. #1, Thanks for the sweet comments! #2, The leaves came from an Etsy shop but they had only the one I bought. I am looking at more from another Etsy shop--I think the name of it was Mary Not Martha (funny name). They had lots of colors to choose from! I'm hoping to order some tomorrow! Thanks again!
