Make a wish!

I made this card just for The Shabby Tea Room's 1st birthday celebration! This week's challenge theme is 'PARTY!'. There are lots and lots of great sponsors and fabulous prizes, so be sure to play along and enter the weekly challenge for your chance to win some AWESOME prizes.
This week is also my introduction as a Shabby Girl- yipee! From now on I will be creating samples for the weekly challenge and will occasionally host a challenge too!
So here's my festive creation for this super fun celebration...

I created a cupcake patterned paper by using a cupcake digital image from Blackleaf Studios and arranging the cupcake into a pleasing pattern and then printing it on some Melissa Frances paper. Can you see the itty   bitty cupcakes on the light pink paper? This was a fun technique I've never tried before but will definitely have to use again.
Blackleaf Studios is giving away a set of cupcake digi stamps to the challenge winner, so you could try making your own patterned paper (or paper pieced cupcake like this Crafty Secrets one) too!
You might also notice lots of lace like borders... yep... couldn't put those Martha Stewart punches down...especially that cupcake punch-love it!
Thanks for stopping by, and happy Wednesday everyone!

Hey There!

I made this card for a couple of challenges. The color inspiration was from ColourQ challenge #68
The sketch is from Mojo Monday's  sketch challenge

I love how bright and cheerful this card is. We've had nothing but gray skies and snow...yuk!

Oooh la la. Je t'aime toujours!

Okay I don't know why this card makes me think of French, but it does.

I love how ruffly and fluffy the crepe paper medallion is. They are so fun to make.

The sketch was inspired by this Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge sketch.

I actually loved making this card, I got messy with glitter, used fun bold colors and got to
use some rhinestone gems that I've been hoarding. Moxie Fab challenges- I will be back.
