Pink Wedded Bliss

Hi Friends, this week at The Shabby Tea Room we have a 'Pink Wedded Bliss' challenge... created a wedding or celebratory card with pink, black, and neutrals.
Our Sponsor is Robyn's Fetish and I chose to use the heart digi stamp "I heart U".
I also used some flower cabochons that I made with resin and clay. Papers are from The Girls Paperie and K&Company. Lace is from walmart and sentiment stamp is from Papertrey Ink.

Now hop on over to the Shabby Girls' blogs for more inspiration...

You're a jewel!

Hi friends, I have a fun challenge for you via the Shabby Tea Room- use the color of your birthstone in your card or project. My birthstone is a diamond...nice eh? So that what pretty easy for me since a diamond is clear, I just used clear and white buttons.

I also used a really cute polymer stamp set from this week's sponsor, Pink Persimmons. I've been eyeing a few of their stamp sets for quite a while, they are so vintage-y and cute!  They will be giving away a fantastic prize, so please play along for a chance to win.

You can find more inspiration for this week's challenge at the Shabby Girls' blogs.

Peachy pink

Hello- its Shabby Tea Room time.... This week i've designed a peachy baby card using the colors for this week's challenge- pink, peach, green. I also used a handmade cabochon flower for the challenge.

Our lovely sponsor this week is Paper Pretties . I used their rocking horse image and transferred it onto vellum for a fun whimsical look.
The papers I used are from Crate Paper, K&Company, and Recollections. The lace is Prima, the chipboard frame is from Tattered Angels, the wrinkle ribbon is seam binding that I dyed with glimmer mists. Buttons, and sentiment stamp are from Papertrey Ink.

Well I hope you make some time this week to participate in our challenge!

(P.S The Shabby Girls have some more inspiration for this week's challenge!)

Oh baby

Hi again there! Its time for the Shabby Tea Room's 75th challenge- Polka Dots! Create a card or project with polka dots.  Easy peasy.
I made this cute baby onesie box using a template from this week's sponsor- Creations by Ar. They have a ton of really adorable templates which you can get as an pdf. file or a svg file to use with your cutting machine. I have a Cricut, but unfortunately never got the third party software necessary to cut using svg files. I'm pretty sure that ship has sailed now...(if i'm wrong PLEASE let me know!)

I used papers from October Afternoon, and Papertrey Ink, Prima lace, a cute little millinery flower, and a Melissa Frances rub on.
Wouldn't this box be perfect for a baby shower? (x30)

I won't lie- I'm not the best at templates.... I once tried making Christmas houses with my Cricut, which should have been easy because they're basically pre-cut...Well it didn't work out so well.
But this box was super easy to put together, even for the template challenged like me.
Now I know that the other Shabby Girls don't have this problem because their projects are AMAZING!

Tea for two

Hi there! Soooo this week's challenge at the Shabby Tea Room prompted me to create this fun card! And guess what, the card matches so well with my favorite collection of books (Penguin Classics with embossed linen covers designed by Coralie-Bickford Smith....so pretty!) So I just had to photograph my card in front of the blue and green books...That, and everywhere else is an absolute mess- why do I always think home projects will be "easy, cheap, and fast"??? Yikes...not so.

Anyway... If you're ready to play along with another fun challenge at The Shabby Tea Room, this is what you need to do- use the colors green and blue! (Rhymes!) And check out the beautiful inspiration photo below.

Pretty, right?
Also, this week's sponsor is Robyn's Fetish and they have loads of cute digi images (I used the Tea for Two image on my card) AND they are giving away a prize to this week's winner!

Oh yes, and the other Shabby Girls have some really really beautiful cards this week! Don't forget to stop by their blogs and leave a little comment.

Mixy Matchy

Hi crafty people! Today I have a fun, sassy card for you. I'm hosting this weeks challenge at the Shabby Tea Room and I thought it would be fun to use several different patterned papers in one card or project. I do this regularly because I just love that look. Check out the Shabby Tea Room for an amazing inspiration pic too!

I used several different patterned papers on my card along with some fun buttons, DYMO labels, Thickers, and a digi stamp that I traced onto vellum with a green marker. The digi stamp is from this week's sponsor  Chi Chi Memories!

Well Chi Chi Memories has a great prize, so be sure to stop by the other Shabby Girls' blogs for inspiration!

We all scream for ice cream!

This week's challenge at the Shabby Tea Room is to use a charm!
What a fun and different challenge this is.
I used a small heart charm that matches the mint green in the card.

I also used that adorable ice cream image from Whimsie Doodles. Cute huh!?!
I love how this card turned out. A little retro, a little shabby....just too cute!

Its your day!

I'm hosting the challenge this week at the Shabby Tea Room. All you have to do is use the colors from the lovely inspiration photo, and gingham or polka dots. Fun, right?

I colored the roses--Heartfelt Creations Bella Rose Trellis, which can be found at Joan's Gardens  Crafts, (This week's sponsor!) with Copic markers. I wanted a bolder look, to match the illustration style of the rose image.

Its time for another challenge from the Shabby Tea Room
This week's theme is 'Pink Lemonade' and the challenge is to use pink, green, neutrals, and flowers.

I made the lace ruffled flower and layered a dyed shabby flower and a resin flower over it. I used two green ribbon, and a couple millinery leaves as well. The sentiments is from Papertrey Ink...as always.

The recovery disc didn't work so now I have to send the computer in the the manufacturer. I'm having some serious withdrawals, its been awful!
So it will probably be pretty quiet around here for the next couple of weeks until I get my computer back.

I'm also entering this card in the CR84FN  color challenge!

Gorgeous inspiration board, as usual!

Thank You BERRY Much!

Hi friends, its been a bit of a ghost town over here this past week... I've had the luck to secure a hard drive issue on my laptop-the only working computer in my house! So i'm waiting for the bitter-sweet 'recovery hard  disc' that will set my computer back to its factory state. (P.S. if you're new computer or notebook sends you a friendly little reminder to create a recovery disc....say, every day.....Do it!)

So here's this week's Shabby Tea Room Challenge card. The challenge is to use an embossing technique-I used wet embossing with white powder. I also used a digi image (Fruity Strawberries) from Robyn's Fetish.

Well, Its late here... and I'm at my sister's house using her computer... Better get going! I hope to have my computer up and running this coming week, and I've got lots to show you!
BTW- Sorry for the awful picture, I'll try and get a better one in the morning!
OH! And don't forget to leave some love for the Shabby Girls at their wonderful blogs!

A Father's Day card

Hi friends, its a Shabby Tea Room Sunday night! (Or Monday morning...)
This week Charlene ask us to use 2 patterned papers, 4 buttons, and 6 layers. What a fun challenge!
And this week's sponsor is Just Rite Stamps- their prize packages are always so great, you definitely don't want to miss a chance winning it!

I really tried to make this card masculine, so I left out the ribbon and used twine instead and kept it pretty simple...I think maybe I should have made it grungier? Either way...
My favorite part is the award ribbon. I love that image from Just Rite's 'You're the best' cling stamp set. This stamp set is so fun, and I can see myself using it a lot. (I'm thinking I'll have to make all my brother in laws' Father's Day cards soon!)

Cute as a button

Hi friends, here's my card for this week's Shabby Tea Room challenge. The challenge this week was to make a baby themed card. I chose an image (cute duck) from Lauretta's Digital Stamps   this week's sponsor.
I printed the stamp on velum and layered it over some cute paper!

The Shabby Tea Room has a fun challenge for you this week--Monochromatic! Fun right?!
Use one color and a neutral. (I might have maybe cheated a little teeny bit with the foliage...but foliage is neutral right??

The challenge this weeks is great, but the prize is pretty awesome too--$20 to The Beary Scrap Paper Crafting Boutique! Sweet!

Ruffles

Hi friends! I'm here again to help inspire you for this week's Shabby Tea Room challenge. I am this week's host and I thought it would be fun to use RUFFLES on your card or project! I found this delicious photo and went from there.... you don't have to use the colors in the inspiration photo, just the ruffles...but that cake looks amazing!

(sorry for the awful picture, the light and my camera were not cooperating)

For this card I used a digi stamp (Happy Mother's Day Sentiment) by this week's sponsor- Digital Delights by Louby Lou.
Also I finally got my hands on some Melissa Frances 5th Avenue paper and had to use it right away, I seriously love that collection.
