P.S.- I'll tell you about my project...Its not a card! Crazy huh?! I decided to make a little Halloween home decor. Eventually (hopefully before Halloween) I'll find a cute little frame to stick it in. I used some paper scraps from Cosmo Cricket, Papertrey Ink, and Crate Paper. The large subway sentiment stamp is from Purple Onions *seriously love those!!* The mason jar and pumpkins are from Papertrey Ink. I apologize for my awful pictures lately..I've been taking them at night *Gasp!* ;o)
Are you feeling ready for fall? I am!

Button baby

Hi there! This week's challenge at The Shabby Tea Room is a fun one. All you have to do is pick 3 blocks in a row (think bingo) and create with the elements listed in the blocks. I chose the middle horizontal row, but since I used ribbon (I can't not use ribbon) and gems my card also worked for the last vertical row.
This weeks' sponsor is Pixie Dust Paperie, so be sure to play along to be eligible to win their great prize.

Here is my glitter and flower...so pretty to me! I just sprinkles some chunky glitter on a millinery flower.

And of course, buttons! I used PTI vintage buttons and some buttons that I made myself, using a mold. (I have lots of those molded buttons so you'll be seeing more soon..)
I realized that I haven't made ANY baby cards... (well I did make one but never posted it here) but still, i've made ONE baby card... and NO Wedding specific cards, so i'm going to be focusing on those two types of cards for a little bit. Although I can't help but create Easter cards too right now...so Easter, weddings, and babies. ;o)

Alright now hop on over to the other Shabby Girls' blogs for more inspiration...

Spring flowers

Hello friends! I've had a busy week, but here I am again.
Yesterday was so beautiful I took the kids on a walk to the park, and today it snowed. Thats Colorado weather for you, gotta love it! I'm having a little spring fever though, and although its snowy outside, and my garden will be dead for another month or so, I'm SO ready for spring!

I finally took out my new February release PTI goodies and got to stamping!
I used the colors from CR84FN as inspiration. Aren't they beautiful together?

I used the tulips from the new Friendship Jars Spring Fillers, and embossed them along with the jar in white. Then I colored them in with Copic markers. I think they almost look watercolored. I had an oopsie while cutting the flowers out...I cut a leaf off! EEk! I tried to fix it but you can still tell a little bit.
I used papers from PTI and The Girls Paperie.

I also entered this card in the Moxie Fab stamping with markers challenge,

A couple of jars

I used PTI Friendship Jars and additions, one of my favorite stamp sets ever, to make these two simple cards
.

This first one uses the marbles? or bubblegum? or candy? and jar from PTI and a noteblock stamp from Purple Onion Stamps. The papers are from October Afternoon- I love them.

I'm entering this first card in the Off the Wall Craftiness color challenge. How could I not be inspired by such a beautiful collage of photos? Oh how I love vintage...and the idea of vintage fairs and carnivals and parties that I get from this color board. (Okay IRL fairs and carnivals are stinky)

This card uses the PTI Jar and pickles, and Melissa Frances Kitschy Kitchen papers. This is my FIRST ever attempt at paper piecing. It was fun, I might (maybe just might) do it again...hah
I entered this card over at Moxie Fab World for their paper piecing challenge.
