Valentine

This romantic valentine was inspired by the color challenge at CR84FN.

I used my cricut to cut out that decorative heart, then I glittered it. Its hard to capture clear glitter, can you see it?

Birthday Banner card

I finally broke into my PTI "library ledger" patterned paper....I love love love that aqua polka dot paper. Love it.  I don't know why I dread cutting into paper I love, I mean thats what its for right?
This card was made for one of my favorite challenges, The Play Date Cafe.

Its hard to tell that theres any demention in the straight on picture...
I'm really loving that PTI banner set, its so much fun.

Bright Spot

This card was inspired by the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger challenge.

Happy Sunday :)

Here's another flower garden-y card with that DCWV paper. This time the focal point of my card is a handmade embellishment made by yours truly ;). The fancy mangifying glass chipbboard like piece of course!

I cut the shape out with my cricut about 5 times and adhered them all together, to make it thick like chipboard. I really love the dimension it gives to the card. I then glittered the hek out of it. You know I like doing that.

Soft and shabby

I really had fun with the layering on this card.
The color scheme is from Mona's C84FN color challenge

I used some K&Company paper I found in my stash. See the green? There is green in there, I promise
That pretty little embellishment is from Pink Paislee, I inked and glittered it.

If you're wondering why post descriptions are getting shorter and shoter is because I've been having computer issues, and with these issues typing drives me craaaazzzy! no kidding. crazy.

Retro kitsch chic

I'm having a hard time coming up with new post titles...eh.

Anyhow, this funky patterned card was created with a couple of challenges in mind.
The sketch is a Mojo Monday sketch.

And honestly it was a challenge for me.. I'm not sure why.

The colors were inspired by the Curtain Call color challenge.

The papers are Cosmo Cricket's Early Bird line...yum!

Oooh la la. Je t'aime toujours!

Okay I don't know why this card makes me think of French, but it does.

I love how ruffly and fluffy the crepe paper medallion is. They are so fun to make.

The sketch was inspired by this Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge sketch.

I actually loved making this card, I got messy with glitter, used fun bold colors and got to
use some rhinestone gems that I've been hoarding. Moxie Fab challenges- I will be back.

Flower garden

After a year of sitting in my closet untouched, I finally cut into my DCWV Garden stack, I love those papers! They are super thick and some have glitter, or embossed parts... they're great.  I made these quick little cards with one of my favorite patterns from the stack. I'm still working on a couple more.
I also made a couple felt flowers using PTI dies, and wool felt. I love these, I'm want to make a whole flock of flowers...yum yum.

Birthday Cards + 1 Thank You

I used some paper and embellies that have been sitting around needing some love.... I don't like having paper scraps so when I cut into my patterned paper I want to use it all... I almost never look in my scrap drawer anymore...there's too much beautiful paper in the rest of my stash to use scraps! So here are some quick cards with all the same papers, but with different embellishments.

Can I just say that I have a soft spot in my heart for chickies...

This last one is my favorite I think. I love that little radish.

Christmas village

I finally got around to taking some pictures today! Here are the little house I painted, glittered, and embellished for Christmas.

 yep, thats a glittery dove...

I forgot (was too lazy) to put mica flakes on the "ground" part of the house, so i'll be doing that next year when I take them out again.
